Open Profile → Avatar, banner & background, or Design → Avatar / Background.

Animated GIFs become animated WebP. Videos are trimmed to 60 seconds, capped at 30 fps and encoded as VP9 WebM without sound. Uploading a new file replaces the old one; Remove deletes it.
The banner only shows when Design → Card & layout → Show banner is on (the Cover layout turns it on for you).
