Views are counted on our server when a page loads, once per visitor per day. A visitor is a salted hash of their address, browser and the date; the salt rotates daily, so the hash cannot be reversed and never identifies a person. Nothing is stored on the visitor’s device.
Excluded: crawlers and bots, link-preview fetchers (Discord, Slack, iMessage), curl-style tools, and your own visits while signed in.
Clicks are sent as a beacon when a visitor taps a link. Plays count when your background music starts.
The Analytics page shows views, unique visitors, clicks, click rate, referrers, devices, browsers, operating systems, languages, UTM campaigns and your best day, for today, 7, 30, 90 days or the year, with the previous period as a dashed line.
